Jim Lynch, Founder
Jim Lynch created
the Lynch Municipal Bond Advisory in order to serve the investing
public with an unbiased, independent opinion born of 25 years experience
in the municipal bond industry.
Lynch recognized
there were few if any individuals with his background to guide the
individual in creating municipal bond portfolios. He has helped individuals
deal successfully with the risk versus yield parameters of municipal
bond investing.
Prior to offering
his services to individuals in 1986, Jim Lynch had a distinguished
career in Wall Street. He managed two of the largest and most dynamic
municipal bond departments during his tenure in the municipal bond
industry.
Lynch brings his
experience negotiating with bond issuers, making bids on competitive
new issues, and trading and selling municipal bonds in the institutional
and individual investor markets to his advisory services.
Lynch, who managed
400 people and more than $1 billion dollars in tax-free securities
for Shearson, Lehman Brothers, was also responsible for overseeing
the municipal bond transactions of individual investors. This experience
serves his clients well in negotiating the sometimes tricky path of
buying the right municipals at the fair market yield.
Lynch is a well
known expert whom the media turns to for municipal bond information.
He is often quoted in publications. Barron's, The New York Times,
The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Business Week, Newsweek, Kiplinger's
Personal Finance Magazine and Bottom Line Personal have solicited
his municipal bond opinions. He has appeared on CNBC, CNN and PBS
as well as having been interviewed on The CBS Evening News, KRLA in
Los Angeles and WOR in New York. Lynch's articles have been published
in Barron's and the AAII Journal
